Price for Freedom $25,000
Written on 22nd June 2025
Before we dive in today’s letter, I want to ask for a small favour. If you’ve moved abroad, planning or in the process.
Can you fill out this form (link), it would be a big help to me. Thanks ;)
Life Update
I’ve been recovering from severe neck pain and going back and forth to physiotherapy appointments. It’s made me realise how important a good pillow and mattress are. The effects of a bad one don’t show up immediately they build up over time like a fine wine, only to strike back with full force later.
Finished reading my first Fiction, it was okayish honestly but if you see me being dramatic here, you know where it is coming from.
Last week was rough it just flew by, had multiple sleepless nights. If you too struggle with sleep I have shared some anecdotes below.
Oh, and it was 29 degrees in Ireland - Once in a lifetime thing
#1 Sleep completely went to shit
Here’s how to Fix!
It started Friday night. Went to Dublin for the “Samay Raina” show, came back at 4am, woke up at 8am. Four hours sleep. Then Saturday, slept late again. Monday, Tuesday - the entire week was a cycle of wanting to sleep but my brain refusing to shut down.
My body was exhausted. My brain was wired. Classic overthinking loop.
I needed to fix this because even if I only get four hours, it has to be deep sleep. Otherwise, the next day is useless.
Here’s what I figured out...
The Real Reason You Can’t Sleep (It’s Not What You Think)
Everyone talks about blue light and screen time. Sure, that matters. But the real culprit? What you consume before bed.
I was watching stimulating content - Instagram reels, random YouTube videos. Your brain gets dopamine-drunk and refuses to come down.
One night I tested it. Watched one comedy stand-up video on YouTube. That’s it. Slept like a baby. Whoop score: 89% sleep, 85% recovery.
Cut water intake one hour before bed. Sounds basic, but waking up to pee destroys your sleep cycles.
Switched to sleep meditations. Yoga Nidra and “Journey to the Moon” by Ranveer on his Level app. Ten minutes in, I was out. Woke up refreshed.

Started taking magnesium again. I had Huel supplements sitting there unused. One scoop gives you all the minerals you need. If you don’t want to invest in supplements, just eat a handful of walnuts. Same magnesium boost.
#2 Price for Freedom is €25,000
Had a consultation call with a doctor from India. Her story floored me.
She moved to Ireland for her Masters. Budget was €15,000. Ended up spending €25,000.
Why? Her husband charged her for everything. Dropping her at the airport. Petrol. Cafe visits. Visa office trips. Even printouts. The bill came to €4,500.
She paid €5,000 and said, “Take this and never contact me again.”
That’s the price she paid for freedom. To chase her dreams. To live her life.
Now she’s drowning in debt, looking for full-time work, chose the wrong course because she was desperate to escape.
And her so-called friends are judging her for spending money on a single room instead of cramming into shared accommodation.
I froze.
All the problems I thought were heavy protein tracking, missing gym sessions, struggling to shoot a Youtube video just disappeared in front of her story.
I remembered my own breaking point in 2023. Part-time job, hunting for full-time work, crying to my dad about wanting to give up and come back to India.
His response? “Okay. Come back. I have your back.”
Just that. No questions. No judgment. Pure support.
Sometimes you need people who believe in you when you can’t believe in yourself. Choose your circle wisely. They’re either lifting you up or pulling you down.
#3 Longest Day Ritual - You can do it today
June 21st was the summer solstice. Longest day of the year. Sun at full power.
A friend recommended writing down goals while the sun’s energy is at its peak.
But more importantly, also write down what I want to let go of as the days get shorter and moon energy takes over. So I did.
Things I’m releasing:
Body and health insecurities
People who don’t contribute to my growth
Hoarded tech gear and belongings I don’t use
Holding onto things too tightly (like I did with my loan anxiety)
Negative experiences I keep replaying
That loan anxiety was toxic. I spent university worrying about money instead of enjoying the experience. Even when I was spending, I wasn’t present.
I’ve learned to let things flow. Enjoy the moment. Stop gripping so tight that you miss the actual experience.
What I’m Calling In
I want to strengthen my abundance mindset. Not just with money, but with opportunities and everything I’m building.
I want my parents to see the returns on their investment in me. They’ve given everything. I want to give back.
I want to reach more people. Help them realize they’re capable of more than they think.
That doctor on the call said, “I knew these things. I just needed to hear it from someone.” I want to be that voice for people who need to hear they’re enough.
Breaking Free From Mental Loops
Here’s something I’ve noticed - people love replaying negative experiences. They tell the same painful stories over and over.
You’re literally playing a negative track on repeat in your head. Your brain thinks that’s reality and attracts more of the same.
It’s a mental jail. A “mayajal”.
To break free, you have to let go of negative experiences. Write them down if you need to. Make peace with them. Then release them.
Your hands can’t hold new positive experiences if they’re full of old negative ones.
#4 Million Dollar Investment
I’m reading “Million Dollar Weekend” by Noah Kagan. First exercise: Ask close friends and family to invest $1 in you.
The point isn’t money. It’s about getting comfortable asking for things. Most businesses fail because people won’t take action.
So here’s my ask: Would you invest $1 in me?
In return, you get a seat on my personal board of directors. I’ll share everything I’m learning and building through this book. All the experiments, failures, successes.
This might crash and burn. I’m okay with that. But if you want to invest in the journey, here’s the link: [Invest here]
The agenda is action. I’m taking it. Whether you join is up to you.
#5 Ai “Models”
I’ve been playing with AI to create supermodels for e-commerce. The idea: Instead of brands hiring models and doing expensive photo shoots, they pay me a fraction and use my AI models.
I had this idea swirling since a while but when I was on a call within a community my friend Akshat showed how he used different tools to make this a reality. And I tried the same.
Generated several realistic-looking models using ChatGPT Plus and Florafauna AI. This is mainly for brands like HnM, Zara. The production costs drop dramatically. Quality stays high.
If anyone has anymore ideas hit comment.
None of them exists
